It does the disciplined thing when you are not at the screen.

Moves your stop to break-even, trails it the way you chose and takes partial profit at your levels, on every position in the account, including the ones you opened on your phone.

Three evenings you have already had

You opened a trade on your phone over lunch.

By the time you are back it has given half of it back. Your terminal saw that position the moment it opened, because it belongs to the account and not to the device that placed it, and managed it while you ate.

You knew where break-even was.

You just were not looking when price got there. The stop moves the moment your rule is met, every time, without asking.

Your plan said take half at 1R.

You took all of it, or none of it. Partial exits fire at the levels you set while you are doing something else entirely.

What happens to one position

The same trade at four moments. You only did the first one.

  1. Opened

    SL 1.08228

You enter. It takes over from here, wherever you opened from.

  2. Break-even

    SL 1.08432

Your rule is met, the stop moves above entry. The trade can no longer lose.

  3. Partial

    1.36 to 0.68

Half comes off at 1R. The rest runs with the risk already banked.

  4. Trailing

    SL 1.08610

The stop follows structure upward. Never back down.

What it takes off your hands

Break-even, automatically

Once a position is far enough ahead, the stop moves above entry with a buffer that covers spread and commission. From there the trade cannot lose.

Trailing that fits how you trade

Follow structure, volatility, a parabolic stop, the last candle, a fixed distance, or a stop that tightens as profit grows. Pick one per instance and leave it alone.

Partial exits at your levels

Take profit in stages, set as R-multiples or in points. The remainder keeps running with the risk already off the table.

A ceiling on the bad day

A money stop closes everything once total loss reaches the figure you named. Per position, or across the whole account.

Stop and target lines you can drag

Move a line on the chart and see the profit or loss in account currency as you drag it, for that instrument, before you let go.

One panel on the chart

Switch guard, break-even, trailing and partials on or off while you trade. Buy and sell with volume presets, or let position size come from the risk you allow per trade.

What you need
  • MetaTrader 5, any broker
  • Hedging and netting accounts
  • One chart is enough, because it manages the whole account
  • A terminal that stays on. A VPS costs a few dollars a month and is what we would recommend: nothing is managed while your computer is asleep.
